"If you love watching airplanes you will definitely love watching the RC planes. There were various sizes from very small planes to some that were 4' or larger. Definitely love stopping at this lovely spot for the planes and the view. If you are there at the right time you may get to see The Great Smokey Mountain Railroad train come by and get to wave at everyone."

"It was a great honor to visit such a historic place. While there is not a lot to see in the area as far as “ruins” are concerned, the location is still very impressive. It would be nice to see more historical information and displays there, but the simple aspect also works to keep the focus on what was lost.
The only thing that really made it strange is the no-trespassing signs all over that are not very clear as to what they are referring to. (Is it just the fenced area or the trails as well?)"
