I've stayed in many hotels across North America and this unique and lovely property has become a new favourite. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and came with a personalized note and gift of sugar cookies upon arrival. We enjoyed spending time in the nicely appointed lounge over glasses of wine and appreciated the complimentary happy hour cocktail (what a nice touch). In the mornings, we loved the savoury or sweet breakfast options--really top notch, excellent in presentation and quality. He told us about a lot of the history of the Mansion as well as some other interesting things. Breakfast was great as well. It kind of reminded us of a cross between a small Stanley Hotel with a Grand Hotel on Macinac Island vibe. We will definitely be back."
