What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Delaware Springs Golf Course is frequently praised for its excellent course conditions, particularly its smooth greens and spongy fairways, offering great value for money, especially on weekdays. While most visitors have a wonderful experience and plan to return, a few have noted issues with hidden fees and inconsistent amenity availability, such as beverage carts or restroom access.
"This golf course was in good shape when we were there in early June. Greens were smooth and fairways were nice and spongy giving good lies for taking clean divots. Good course for playing with your buddies. Incredible value for your money on a week day rate. I’d play here again anytime!"
Ryan Siegert
"The course was in GREAT shape, especially considering the area hasn't had much, if any, rain the past couple of months. We never saw a beverage cart, and the restrooms at the halfway mark had a "CLOSED" sign on them. Aside from that, we enjoyed a great round of golf on a really nice course for a reasonable price. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in the area."
Todd Lehn
"Worst golf experience of any course I’ve played across the country. Players beware, hidden fees and clueless course marshals. Prior poor reviews are spot on. They advertise $49 rounds but hide the $40 cart fee. I’m a weekly player and experienced courses across the country. Nowhere have I played, structures nor hides fees the way this pit does. It was obvious the local players are provided special treatment as well since marshals hounded us from hole 3 to the end. Our group is all single digit handicaps. The group behind us played a best ball, so they were picking up half their shots. After our round, I attempted to provide respectful feedback to the pro shop. Complete waste of time, even after the staff agreed they poorly market their rates. In the end, there’s plenty of better tracks to play and I confidently say, I will never be back with friends, family or clients. So avoid the Delaware Pit."
