"Great spot for a short hike. Very nice kayak launch just below the dam. Recommend the riverside trail, the overlook trail has the best view of Inks Lake dam. The Cross creek trail is also nice with 100k pieces of milky quartz scattered around. Look for the Prickly Pear cactus growing up about 15 feet high in a dead tree by the river. It's also free. Closes at 3:30 PM"
