Reviews Summary
Wedding Oak Winery in Burnet offers a unique Wine Train experience and a charming tasting room in a historic building. Visitors often praise the quality of the Texas wines and the friendly staff. However, some recent reviews mention unpleasant odors in the building and a lack of live music, which was previously a draw. The Wine Train, while popular, has also received mixed reviews regarding value and seating arrangements.
"We loved coming here on the wine train, but disappointed there was no live music anymore. I have to warn you the sewage smell in the building was overwhelming and will prevent us from coming back until it's fixed. The owner is great to deal with so I hope he gets on that and brings back the music. 2 stars for the cute bulldog and the foods much better than the former box lunches."

"Stopped in for tasting, and walked out laden with some fantastic bottles of wine. Bruce was cordial, knowledgeable and quickly surmised my tastes based on the conversation. I was particularly struck by the Trebbiano, one of the most complex white wines I have ever had. Please give it a try, and let it breathe. We had it with a stellhead trout and it was just wonderful.
Thanks for a good time, we'll be back again!"
Jonathan Dehn
"Very personable wine stewards. We enjoyed their dryer wines, the history of the building and especially the view from the rooftop patio."
