What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Centennial Park for its excellent playground and refreshing splash pad, making it a top choice for families. The scenic Arkansas River access and picnic facilities also receive high marks. Some minor drawbacks include the splash pad's early closing hours and the need to check for reservation requirements.
"We have been here 3 different summers. It is a fun place with a splash pad, a large field, gazebos, a duck/goose pond and the Arkansas River. I must warn others that the river can be dangerous, and at times is moving really quickly. I would not recommend going down it if you are not a good swimmer. There are plenty of little inlets where the flow is very slow and only a foot or two deep that is perfect for children to play."

"When my family travels our son likes to check out new parks. This one was great. Lots of climbing areas, great river view, and a water play area for little ones. Not a bad way to spend a few hours outside."
Terry Smith
"We are from out of town and stopped by to get fresh air and grill out - this was the perfect park! Beautiful playscape, covered pavilion with picnic tables, and an awesome splash pad. However…the splash pad has kind of lame hours. We pulled up right as they were locking it up at 6pm 😒 Otherwise we loved our visit and would definitely stop here when in the area again."
