Train and photo wise, this has got to be one of the best places in the country. All across the pass there are many different and unique photo opportunities, although lighting sometimes can be an issue, and there are plenty of trains to shoot. However, the traffic is absolutely horrible. So much so that in the middle of the day I had to take backroads so as not to get stuck in Westbound traffic, and that road was also clogged by people, doing the same thing. I would suggest arriving very early and staying in spot/within walking distance so as not to waste time driving between locations."

"Where the San Andreas fault would shift the earth over 30 feet in the event of a large earthquake and bust all of the pipelines of natural gas etc going through here. KaBOOM! But in the meantime it's breathtaking."
