Reviews Summary
Indian Springs Calistoga is celebrated for its stunning grounds, exceptional geyser-fed mineral pools, and tranquil atmosphere, making it a highly recommended spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. While some guests find the historic bungalows charming, others prefer the modern comfort of newer rooms. The resort is evolving, with ongoing improvements aiming to elevate its service to match its upscale aspirations.
"This is one of the best hotels in the area. The pool is amazing and the grounds are beautiful. It has gone through some growing pains and continues to improve. They are adding another 100 rooms and new pools currently. The old original bungalows have a musty smell to them and are very tight. The new buildings in the back are nice rooms and the staff takes good care of them. The pool is exceptional! Great things: grounds are great, pool, convenient and close to town. Areas to improve: they are struggling to become a higher end hotel and haven’t quite grown into offering the services expected of a 5 star hotel. It is amazing as is but if the transition is occurring they will need to up the offerings."

"Truly a very special place to stay. My wife and I will definitely be back and I would highly recommend to everyone considering a place to relax. The grounds, rooms and pools are all inviting and wonderful in my opinion. The pool is open until midnight and is a perfect 100 degrees for a night cap swim or float. Comfortable robes are provided and many of the guest were leisurely walking the grounds in them. This is vintage, classy, charm to me and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. May your day be blessed."

"Out 36 year anniversary and 37 years ago we met on a cycling trip while camping behind the geyser (was a field then) and now we had a gorgeous room on the then field. Great aspects of this property - spacious, clean, friendly staff, exception large mineral hot pool, close to walk downtown, right off the new Napa Valley Bike Trail, quiet room and lovely bed/sheets. And then, the spa facilities are very nice - massage from Toni was a gift! We love the mud bath, infra red sauna and mineral bath. Just heavenly. I have to mention the cozy area created for breakfast coffee, cocktails … best breakfast burrito and matcha latte. We are regulars and look forward to seeing the expansion."
