Reviews Summary
Camden City Hall is recognized for its beautiful, historic architecture, both inside and out, and its past as the original county jail. Visitors often praise the professionalism and kindness of staff members, particularly those in administrative roles. While the building itself is appreciated, the surrounding area is noted by some as feeling desolate, prompting advice to seek dining options slightly further afield.
"I visited Camden City Hall today for my 11:30 AM appointment with the Department of Code Enforcement (Room 403). I had confirmed the appointment by phone the day before. However, when I arrived, it didn’t appear in their system.
Fortunately, Miss Patterson, who was working at the Code Enforcement office, was extremely professional, kind, and helpful. Despite the confusion, she handled everything with grace and a warm smile. She quickly found a way to assist me by fitting me into the schedule and made the entire process smooth and stress free.
Employees like Miss Patterson are a true asset to Camden City Hall. Her calm and respectful demeanor reflects a strong commitment to public service. Thank You!"

"⭐️🌟 ★Beautiful, Historic Building★ 🌟⭐️
⭐️- This Building used to be the original Camden County Jail!!
⭐️- I love the style of the City Hall building both inside, and outside. The inside reminds you of a 1950's five-star hotel, and the outside looks like its made of marble.
⭐️- There is a beautiful, Smoking🚭Free park located on the South side of the building, where the old "Parkade" building used to be located, that's nice to visit now that the Methadone Clinic is gone.
⭐️-That's also where the "City Hall" underground speedline access stairs are located. Much nicer and safer than the "Broadway" stop, three blocks away.
⭐️- The Camden City Municipal Court is inside, located on the fourth floor.
⭐️- The Camden County Sheriff's Department is located on the East Side of the building, so they are always around.
🌭🍔- EXCELLENT Street Vended food Stand located at SouthWest corner of building.
👉🏻- A Beautiful, Must See sight located in the heart of the city. Plenty of Police, and Sheriff Deputys around, so its also a safe place to visit."
