What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Paul Lindsey Park offers basic recreational facilities like basketball and pickleball courts, which are generally appreciated. However, visitors frequently point out issues with park cleanliness, including litter, and a lack of amenities like hand soap in restrooms. The skate park, in particular, has received criticism for its limited design.
"Nearest trash cans to the skate park are in the parking lot next to the basketball court. Trash all over the fence lines. What's the point of having city of Canyon facilities on park property if they can't even keep the park clean?"

"Went to play pickleball, court is not too bad for a public court"
Kelly Ferguson
"The skate park here is awful. Since moving here ive tried to appreciate it as much as I can but it feels like an extra slap in the face that they took away 50% of the park and replaced it with a tennis court instead of an actual skate park, like they dont have enough room for both in different spots?? This park feels like nothing but a cop out for the city to say the have one. In reality any experienced skater or someone brand new to skating is gonna be bored here, in fact the most fun thing to skate is a parking curb that someone else brought. The only reason anyone would skate here is because they love the sport and are unfortunate enough to live here and not closer to any of the parks in amarillo. And its not like everyone (especially broke skaters) have the gas money to be able to make that 20 minute drive everyday just to skate. Wanna hit street spots? Naw you cant do that either cuz everyone in this town kicks you out. Having a skatepark here would be such a good outlet for kids all the way from elementary to the college students at wtamu."
