"We traveled to the Marina and stayed here on transient dockage with our 41 ft Carver. Water and electricity is available. We stayed for four nights. Overall great trip. This is a quiet spot. People are friendly. Rent a golf cart and go out to town. You can also walk there if you’d like. Nice little beach onsite. Pool as well. The restaurant is fantastic and has live entertainment available. Beautiful views. Only cons to speak of were dealing with no gas or pump out available. We contacted the dock master who told us to try to build pressure, with no additional assistance. We ended up going to the other side of the island to the Cape Charles Marina for pump out and gas. Also had my laundry locked up by staff during the hours it was supposed to be open for guests. We had to call and have someone return to the marina to reopen the laundry room. There was little to no attention paid the the onsite restrooms. There are no bags available at the animal waste station and the box that was there was empty and crumpled from age. If you have a pet, bring your own bags. Beautiful facility but definitely needs some attention."

"Regarding the marina, it's an awesome facility but what a shame the way it is run. The person working the dock has no clue about anything relating to a boat. Simply getting fuel was a disaster. Luckily someone else there knows what he is doing and he came in to sort things out...after massive confusion and wasted time. He was a great but overall a bizarre scene. How hard is it to hire/train someone to handle the basic functions and front the customers?
In any event, Oyster Bay is a nice set up. Fun tiki bar. Golf cart into town. Happy to return but will fuel up on the other side of town."

"Mixed feelings about this one. Beautiful property. Front desk made no effort to give any explanation from the parking pass to where our villa was. Just no customer service whatsoever . The house was spacious and bright, AC was good, sheets were cheap, the quilts did not seem like they were washed in the last month, and beds were already sunken, so prepare for back pain. So many entrance points into the house, barely any doors would lock (patio doors on the second & third floor could not be locked)."
