"Must see attraction. Beautifully preserved site. Managed by super polite people. The climb is worth the scene from above. Also must visit the souvenir shop, the older gentleman is so adorable. "We didn't climb the lighthouse this time because I believe we did in the past.
The fee to climb is $12 per person (adult).
You can see the area near the lighthouse for free. They have a little garden type of place and a boat which used to be a rescue boat back in time.
It's a beautiful place, very well maintained.
There are 2 accesses to the ocean nearby, but that's not for swimming.
High free parking lot.
A food truck can be found during the summer season in the parking lot.
I recommend visiting the Cape May lighthouse. I love climbing them. Lighthouses have individual histories.
