The educational aspect of the tour, combined with a delicious tasting of Kona coffee, artisanal chocolate, and unique tropical fruits, makes for a memorable experience. Some minor challenges with GPS navigation are noted, but easily overcome by following provided directions.
"Our family of four really enjoyed the tour. The farm is owned and run by a couple and the tour has a laid back feel. We learned a lot about cocoa, coffee, and a lot of tropical fruits. The tour ended with a delicious tasting! Yum!"

"This was our 1st excursion on Big Island & we enjoyed this casual farm tour & tasting guided by Una and Leon, who are humble, entertaining & full of aloha! We visited on an overcast day & were only 6 people in the tour, which felt more private & laid back. We tasted sugar cane, oranges, macadamia nuts, tamarillo tomatoes, apple bananas, white cacao pulp & 100% Kona coffee. There were roaming chickens, bees, geckos & a sneaky orange cat. Una even showed us a unique gecko calendar that Leon purchased, a wise investment if you ask me! I wrote informative tidbits on agriculture on my tiny journal & learned tons about fruits, cacao, Kona coffee & harvesting. We admire their integrity & dedication to sustainable practices. Definitely worth checking out!
The farm name is pronounced "Ku-wa-ee-vee". GPS is unreliable in getting to the actual location, so learn from our mistake & make sure to follow exactly the directions noted on the email that Una sends prior to the tour. Mahalo from Vancouver, Canada!"

"The experience was very top notch. The depth of knowledge of the history of Hawaii’s agriculture - not just Kona coffee- is absolutely impressive. I’ve learned a lot from their discussions but also through the hands on experiences they offer. This is one of those experiences that will leave a lasting impression and one of those experiences you will talk about for years to come.. The owners are absolutely amazing and incredibly kind. The orange tabby cat was honestly the center of the show and was so sweet and kind. The coffee , chocolate and macadamia tasting was absolutely delicious. Their coffee is absolutely amazing. Their chocolate rivals European chocolate. Macadamia nuts were so fresh and delicious."
