"The newly remodeled Golden Bough Playhouse is a sight to behold! With its innovative racked seating, every seat in the house offers a fabulous view. The addition of new box seats blend comfort with an unobstructed perspective of the stage below. The entire theater has been thoughtfully updated; every element is modern and tastefully done, creating an inviting atmosphere for all.
I had the pleasure of attending the Carmel International Film Festival here and spent a weekend immersed in film. The screen is HUGE, and the projection quality is bright and stunningly beautiful. Watching the premiere of my wildlife documentary, "Condor Canyon," in this space was nothing short of glorious. The film looked and sounded incredible on the big screen, truly doing justice to the visual and 5.1 surround sound auditory experience we aimed to create.
The Golden Bough Playhouse is now, without a doubt, the greatest theater on the Monterey Peninsula. I am excited to see how PacRep Theatre will utilize this innovative and creative space. "When i visit Carmel, California, I am usually involved as an actress & singer for annual performances in end-of-holidays rock-n-roll concert productions @ the Golden Bough Playhouse. The cast is stellar & audiences get to have fun for the entire 2-set show. Showtime is 730pm, on weekends w a Sunday matinee @ 2pm. This is the last weekend, tho' . So, i hope U see us tonight or 2mrw. Come & have some fun making memories with us @ the theatre."
