"Bucket list check off! I was able to find pitchers, sundews, flytraps and butterwort seedlings during my short visit! I also saw a few racerunners. Lots of mosquitoes, but other than that it was very tranquil."

"Nice little hike. Saw the fly traps but only because someone told us where to look. Would be nice if they put up signs. Without that one person being there would have had no idea.
When you park go left to the trail and stay left for a short while. Not too far around, on the right, you will find a small, angled, boardwalk. Look in the angle of the boardwalk carefully and you should see some there. Then just look carefully on that same side. Photos show what we saw there.
Where it says below, what type of trail, I can only pick one. We chose the loop. But there are many other options and most are longer."

"Went to the park to do a little bird watching and hiking all in one. Seen a northern flicker, several woodpeckers and an Osprey. Stopped by the marina store got some refreshments. Set outside and just enjoyed the lovely fall weather."
