Reviews Summary
St. Peter's Episcopal Church is widely celebrated for its incredibly kind and welcoming congregation, offering a strong sense of community and spiritual support. Visitors frequently highlight the church's historic charm and the peacefulness of its labyrinth and garden. While primarily a place of worship, its inclusive atmosphere makes it a welcoming spot for those exploring faith or seeking connection.
"The community at St. Peters was very kind and welcoming at a time when I was lost and looking for answers. I grew up Catholic and was a self-declared Atheist for a long time, but after a difficult time in my life, I visited St. Peters. The congregation encouraged my curiosity about exploring a life with faith where I had none before and has helped me find my own answers to the many questions I have had. I happily consider myself Episcopal now. With our new priest Donna, the church has truly felt like home. I'd highly recommend checking this church out if you are curious about your faith, are looking for community, or are new to the area. We'd love to have you. "

"St. Peter's Episcopal is a beautiful, old church in historic West side Carson City. The church is over 100 years old, with a traditional steeple and tower bell. There is a labyrinth and Memorial brick garden on the grounds, open to anyone to walk, pray or meditate at any time. Most important of all, are the friendly, kind, caring and welcoming people and priest of the congregation. ~♡~"

"A wonderful faith community. Father Jeff is an active and engaged cleric whose characteristics include warmth, flexibility, charism, and scholarly understanding of the Episcopal Church and Christianity. This community was incredibly supportive and helpful when I asked them through Father Jeff to officiate at my wife's celebration of life service in June. I cannot say enough about them. The church would fall on the moderately liberal side of church doctrine."
