"The docent was kind and reasonable. He explained things both for kids and for adults. The museum itself was well organized, and had specimens they allowed people to touch, which, who doesn't want to touch a fossil!

We will be visiting again."

"If you're in Casper and want to learn a little (or a LOT) about geological, paleontological, and even economical history of Wyoming, VISIT THE TATE! JP, Russell, and everyone else have done an incredible job of putting together artistic, informative, and thought-provoking exhibits that even small children will appreciate and learn from. There's a great new video introducing visitors to the history of the museum, a gift shop with all sorts of fantastic books, toys, and other items, and if you really want the full experience, you should ask about the dinosaur digs that are open to the public! Truly a gem of the west and an incredible opportunity to learn about science and how the world came to be."

Anton Wroblewski

"The Tate Museum was quite amazing. No charge to enter. It had a little bit of everything. Including fossils, gemstones, extensive history into how fossils of Wyoming animals were discovered and the actual fossils of these animals. The history of Dee the wooly mammoth was quite amusing. They also had history and fossils of dinosaurs.

Highly recommend for any age. Took about an hour to hour and a half to look and read everything."
