"We stopped in the other day, as we are working on a documentary and were seeking some archival newspapers, and the SECOND we walked in we were warmly greeted and immediately shown exactly where to go. The staff was so pleasant, helpful, sweet, and friendly - they made our research process SO simple by promptly tracking down two file folders filled with information on the subject we were after. This place is SO cool and I cannot recommend visiting enough - it’s even free and on a donation only basis!!! Thank you all so much for your help with everything - we cannot express enough gratitude for you!!"

"This is a wonderful museum that is a surprise with the historic exhibits and the dinosaur bones. It is very well done and it was free the exhibit of historic clothing “Head to Toe” was quite good. Also “Dalls” room was very interesting. We took well over an hour but we love museums such as this gem. Also a great history of the Royal Gorge bridge. A short walk from the Royal Gorge Railroad and worth the visit."
