What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Kuhefuss House Museum offers a historical glimpse into mid-19th century life, but visitor experiences suggest a need for better communication regarding entry policies. While some appreciate the historical context, others have encountered issues due to a lack of clear signage and advance information about tour requirements.
"We decided to stop in during Wine and Harvest Fest. When we arrived the gate and door where wide open. No one was there but we saw a donation area so we assumed it was a self guided tour and started walking around. All of a sudden there is a lady screaming at us that you can only be in the house with a tour group and to get out, get out now! Bare in mind there were no signs anywhere stating any of this. I finally got so angry I screamed at her that we had no idea and that is a horrible way to treat people. Maybe put up a sign and close your doors if you donβt want people there during a festival. Also being kind can go a long way."
