"As a first-time skier, I had a great experience at Snowy Range Ski Area! It’s a fantastic place for beginners, with a variety of areas suited for different skill levels. The slopes were well-maintained, and the atmosphere was welcoming for newcomers.
The restaurant upstairs was a pleasant surprise—spacious, quick service, and fresh food. We tried the burgers, fries, pizza, and salad, and everything was delicious. There are plenty of options to choose from, making it a great spot to refuel after skiing.
The equipment rental area was well-organized, and they offer two different locker options: a small one for $1 (cash only) and a larger one for $5 (card payment available). There’s also a small store where you can buy clothing and ski equipment if needed.
Overall, it was a great place to ski for the first time, and I’d definitely recommend it to beginners or anyone looking for a fun, affordable ski trip!"

"Great local skiing at a great price. Low traffic, easy/close parking, plenty of terrain for a beginner-learner, and for those experts there’s a couple runs that will keep you satisfied for the day. Do you get miles and miles of runs or pounding moguls and hundreds of people around you? Nope. And that’s what makes it great. Almost no wait lift lines, A couple mins on the lift, and plenty of space for you to ski down. Possible to get 6-8 runs an hour if you try hard. Great value. Oh and nice lodge, super convenient and well kept. Friendly staff!"
