"We had the best time at the Hidee Mine Tours and Panning! Rusty was our guide and he was very informative, super funny, and just the nicest guy ever! All of the staff there were incredibly nice and wanted to make sure everyone had a great time. The mine was very cold, so make sure to take sweatshirts, coats, etc.. We also did the gold panning and Rusty did such a great job walking us through how to do it properly. We all got to go home with a rock/sample from the mine and keep whatever gold we panned. I would highly recommend this tour for everyone!"

The mine was quite chilly, but was an amazing experience. It’s very neat learning about the history of mining in the area and about how the mines were created. I’d definitely recommend to anyone visiting, with or without kids. Afterwards we got to learn how to pan for gold which was a nice way to warm up in the sun after being in the chilly mine!"
