"Came on a Friday and took the hardwood loop and didn’t realize there are more trails to Isaqueena Dam!
I thoroughly enjoyed the hardwood trail (watch out for horse poop) and will definitely be coming back to check out the Isaqueena dam trail. Lovely piece of forest nestled between backroads.
Plenty of parking. Dog/horse friendly. Surely, a mountain biking and trail running playground."

"What a nice spot for a hike! We started at the West Gate, which was closed, but you walk around that. Take the gravel road to the right. Continue to the right spur to the small cemetery. Back track to the road and continue down hill to the dam. Take the trail by the picnic shelter and follow it along the west side of the lake to the boat ramp. Take the gravel road to the left and it will loop back to the west gate. About 2.5 mile round-trip. Easy hike and trail relatively well marked. Few people, very peaceful with good views of the lake at this time of the year."

"Very calming place to relieve some stress. You can park and hang out or you can walk many of the trails in this forest. Some trees are still down but nothing serious. Calm quite hike the entire way. Lots of old trees and good vibes. Highly recommend this for any hike you are looking for. Lake views, wildlife, waterfalls to cool hangout spots, they have it all. No complaints whatsoever."
