What are your favorite stands at Urbana's Market At The Square?
To go first, I really like Granny Cakes. Those pound cakes are so moist and flavorful.
Fun Things to do in Chambana?
Im (21 F) a senior undergrad who transferred to UIUC last year. I didnt do much besides go to the bars last year and I’m looking for fun activities that I can do by myself (since I don’t have many friends) that don’t require alcohol. Any suggestions? Or places to make friends?
☀️ Weather Watch
Be mindful of extreme weather; animals may seek shelter.
🏞️ Combine with Splash Pad
Visit alongside the nearby splash pad or aquatic center for a full day of fun.
Recommend me things!!
Im moving to the Chambana area soon! I was wondering what restaurants and fast food places are good. My partner and I also have been looking into coffee shops, is there any that are welcoming to students that you really like? We both like sweet coffee treats but dont wish to…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Prairie Farm Centennial Park is a beloved, free attraction offering charming farm animal encounters and nostalgic appeal. While some visitors wish for more extensive playground facilities and picnic areas, its manageable size and seasonal events like the Christmas lights make it a delightful spot for families and budget-conscious travelers. The petting times are a highlight for interactive fun.
"This place holds a special place in my heart, all the way back to my childhood in the 1980's. I still miss those lazy summer days spent sliding down the slide, from the top of the barn silo into the hay. The old slide is gone, but the animal displays are way better now than I remember from my childhood."

"Lots of nice lights for Christmas. On certain days maybe Friday there is hot chocolate. The kids there were having a great time. There were a couple of ponies in a warm embrace in the cold weather."

"We visited for the first time a few days ago. It was cute but rather small. They have a small climber for kids. I love going to different parks with my kids but I don't know that I would go to this one again. The animals are cool, and so is free admission... but you can only see them so many times. If there was a bigger playground area and maybe a few more picnic tables we would definitely be back. Over all it's nice just wish there was a little more."
