"Glad to see and use the new playground. Plenty of picnic tables and space to play! Only one grill though, located by the pavilion. The playground is not for the meek or timid, but there are other age-appropriate equipment."

"A great place to take your dog when you want a balance of space and trail. The entrance is a bit hard to find but once in, you are treated to a lush trail and water sources."

"The dog park is easily the best I’ve ever seen in the country. The people and dogs there are always great too. After getting super muddy in the many swampy areas there (we see them as a positive) my dogs love to go to the boat launch and clean up. We’re always respectful of any boats coming or going, and no one, including park staff, have ever complained. Only way it could be any better there would be if they opened up the “canoe launch” area for dogs to be able to swim more. It’s a perfect place for them, but the road is usually closed."
