Some users note that certain sections can be difficult to find initially and that flooding can occur after heavy rain.
"This review refers to the Greenway section next to the Atrium healthcare.
This last puzzle of the greenway has been under construction for a couple of years finally opened last month. You hear the birds chirping and the life going on at different pace while you are surrounded by greenery and gentle flowing creek. There are construction workers going over the bridges and people biking along the pathway. You will see the massive expansion of Atrium healthcare under construction. After a while, you do not get any sense of being in the center of the city as the traffic dies down. The sounds and sites of urban Charlotte fadeaway as you walk past the Atrium Health medical center and enter the freedom park area. Overall it is a great natural asset accessible for all of uptown and neighborhoods."

"I went in the mid afternoon, and it was not busy. The trail is paved and there are not a ton of views along the way, but there are some really pretty flowers, the creek is nice, And I think there were some basketball and or tennis courts and playgrounds nearby."
