Many appreciate the unique 'secret garden' feel and the dedication to birdlife. Some note that paths can be uneven, and accessibility might be a concern for those with mobility issues.
"What a wonderful little place with outdoor gardens. I’m sure it’s beautiful in spring when all the plants bloom. The outdoor area is great, offering plenty of space and shade during hot days. You can’t beat it if you just want to look at a garden and visit home and go to Noah’s Carolina, which is good for kids and adults, especially when you're tired. It works out well. They also have another small 1-acre plot down the road that is free with your paid admission."

"I honestly cannot believe that I haven't reviewed this place before now because I've been there so many times that I have lost count. This is one of the best little pockets of nature and beauty in Charlotte city that I have ever visited. I have bought several of my own plants from here from the nursery when they do their sales. I have considered volunteering from how much I love going here, this is one of my favorite nature sanctuaries in Charlotte and if it ever goes away I might actually cry. I usually forget to take pictures when I visit so I have included the picture of a fern that I have taken as well as the information chart for the roses that I bought from the nursery which are growing amazingly in my yard."

"Beautiful place with a lovely story. I really loved walking around and getting to see all the different types of plants and flowers. My daughter loved it so much from her field trip last week that she wanted us all to see it."
