Reviews Summary

However, visitors should be prepared for a rustic experience with no facilities and the logistical challenges of accessing the island via boat shuttle.
"Part of north island. Great place to go for a very scenic private gorgeous beach with wildlife all around you. Seals great white sharks chasing seals. Lots of fish. Crystal clear water. I think it’s better at low tide. Chatham Lighthouse beach is on the west side across the channel/bay. If your a beachcomber it’s a great place. Like a private beach that’s got all the best shells and sea glass that hasn’t been picked over. We got some great shells. Sea glass. & all sorts of cool stuff that wouldn’t last 5 min on a regular beach. Obviously you need a boat to get there and be careful what u bring. I brought electronics, drones ,cameras and when the unfortunate time to leave closes in I started to think how am I gotta get my stuff back on the boat. By that time it was WAY over my head. And having to fight the current to get to the boat without anything in my hands trying to not get wet would have been a nightmare. We maneuvered the boat closer with the anchors and my 6ft+ friend was able to get it to me thank god. Anyway if someone offers or u get the opportunity to visit the island DO NOT miss out. No bathrooms. Nothing but beach and water & sea life"

"Very inviting to everyone. The view isn’t quite what you’d think it would be, though. Smells pretty fishy. Always wet. Really rough and scratchy up top. Mostly flat and slippery with a few mysterious clusters of bumps. Still though, it’s fun every now and then, especially after a night of partying. Things tend to get pretty loose around here. I advise that you don’t hang out here too often though, as some frequent visitors eventually develop an itchy rash. Bring heavy duty jacket and expect to need to shower afterwards."

"Absolutely electric name of an island, cannot believe more people haven’t reviewed this place! Sure it’s a bit overgrown, but truly paradise."
