What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the immersive 'Tecumseh!' production, praising its realistic effects, live animals, and talented cast. The outdoor setting is a major draw, complemented by friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. However, strict entry times and a no-photography policy during shows are points of contention for some.
"We went to see The Mothman. It is an outdoor theater, so dress warm in October. They have a small cafe, where you can get snacks, and basic food items like hot dogs, fries, etc. There are also two gift shops on site, one has a lot of Native American created items. The amphitheater is home to Tecumseh, but they also do a Halloween themed play each fall. We enjoyed the show, quite entertaining. My only complaint is they have a strict rule on when they let people in. Open at 5:30 and not before. We had to wait 20 minutes before being allowed to park."

"Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheatre: An Immersive Outdoor Experience
The Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheatre offers a truly spectacular outdoor experience, where nature itself provides a breathtaking backdrop. This venue masterfully integrates super realistic special effects that create a completely immersive theatrical experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
Their production about Tecumseh is particularly noteworthy, featuring real horses and an immersive set design that transports you directly into the story.
To ensure the best experience for everyone and the safety of the animals, please remember the following rules: no videos, no continuous or burst photography during the show, and absolutely no flash photography, as it can interfere with the horses."

"This was our second time at SMA. Our first watching "Tecumseh" and this time to see "It Flies by Night". The box office is easy to collect tickets from and the staff is polite. Looking forward to next year's Haunted Mountain production."
