What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Menemsha Fishing Village is celebrated for its authentic charm, stunning sunsets, and incredibly fresh seafood, particularly its renowned lobster rolls. While many praise the picturesque harbor and relaxed atmosphere, some reviews note concerns about declining quality in certain seafood preparations and the persistent challenge of limited parking.
"Go here and ask about the time Stan caught a 20 foot 3000 lb 9 foot diameter great white shark! Excellent. Such great service and fresh fish."
Jack Phillips
"We went here to have take out dinner with a relaxing view of the sunset. I had the warm lobster roll which did not hold together well, but was quite tasty."
Rich Kahn
"Love coming here for some seafood and the view. Iv been coming here at least a couple of times a year for the last 4 years and unfortunately I think the quality has gone down some. I tried my first ever oyster here and I fell in love but now I'd put them at the bottom of my list for oysters as they don't even serve them on ice so they are just room temperature which is off putting. The lobster roll could be filled a bit more. But service is always great and vibes are always immaculate!"
