"We love this place! There is plenty to explore and it isn't too far outside of town... about 15 minutes.

Someone mentioned that a fire had damaged the wetlands. To clarify, it was a prescribed burn, which are used to manage overgrowth and improve the habitat. We visited recently and everything has grown back nicely.

My oldest kid enjoyed taking photos of everything!"

"Fabulous place to learn about nature’s “kidneys”. They have a beautiful educational room with floor maps and interesting facts on the wall. The wetlands are always well maintained with regular mowing and it’s great fun to explore the boardwalks and observe the natural world. They also offer small guided tours. Many dog walkers come to enjoy the space with their leashed companions ."
