"I thought this was just another rest stop. It was more. There’s a lot of history tucked away off this beaten path and I won’t even share it here . But I hope that anyone traveling from Oregon to Tacoma , up the coast , to take the right after the bridge instead of left and just check this place out . Caught it at sunset and it was magic ."

"Right off the main road so there is a lot of traffic noise but nonetheless it's still a great place to come visit. There is a short trail that wraps around the St Mary's Gowan Church. There is a lot a neat boardwalk trail that also is wheel chair accessible. It's a beautiful place that has a lot of information about the area. No bathrooms here."
Kaltrina Demiri
"Unexpected find between Astoria and Cape Disappointment. Shares the history of the Chinook people, their interactions with colonizers, what colonizers did to their land, and the unkept promises of the American government. There is an active church on site with services at 4pm on Sunday. Gate open 9a- 5:30p, leashed pet friendly."
