What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for the Chippewa County Courthouse are largely negative, citing issues with unhelpful and rude staff, difficulty obtaining documents, and poor customer service. While some individuals have had positive experiences with specific employees, the overall sentiment points to a need for improvement in accessibility and empathy.
"I had a terrible time trying to get a simple document. I reached out via phone and walk in several times. I was told by three plus other agencies they (CC) were the ones I needed to help me. When i explained what I needed the women in front would act bothered, talk amongst themselves and sent me away with no options or suggestions to remedy the problem. I felt judged and uncomfortable the whole time I was in there. I was finally put through to a kind man who knew exactly what to do and helped me in minutes. Yikes!
Edited to add I had to tell the woman who answered the call that the DA told me it was their responsibility to help me, she cut me off and demanded information from me. Really all around bad customer service and lacking empathy and support."

"We went there to start my girlfriends LLC. We started with asking human resources where to go in the building. They had no clue. We then find our way to clerk of courts where we needed to be. We were immediately turned down, being told we can't do it without an attorney, which is not true at all. I'm certain she simply didn'twant to do it. We went well out of our way to do this today, and I'm quite disappointed. No wonder all the negative reviews. Unhelpful, lack of knowledge, never again."
