Traveling this July through Nevada. What is the road like from Searchlight to Mountain Pass (164)? What should we be aware of?
Trying to figure out how to get from Kingman to Baker with interesting views and stuff. I can stay on the highway up to LV but would rather take a direct route with views. Traveling in a Kia Soul.
Went to mount Charleston yesterday and found some trails to drive on. Any other ones I should check out closer to town/Henderson side of the valley?
Have you ever done Christmas tree pass? Itβs not too rough, most parts can technically be done in a car or light suv if youβre careful but thereβs definitely some offshoot sections that you need to wheel through.

Any things/towns/places/etc we should know about? We are taking 2 weekends to visit other places, Vegas and Joshua tree, but open to suggestions both local and a bit of a drive. We have been to Sedona many many times, but curious what else may be suggested!
