What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise California Woods Nature Preserve for its beautiful natural scenery, including an old-growth forest and a charming creek perfect for kids. The well-marked trails and peaceful atmosphere are frequently highlighted. However, some find the single-lane entrance road and limited parking to be inconvenient during busy periods.
"Very cool area with running water, lots of cool bridges as well as multiple trailheads.
Parking can be an issue and there is only one 1 way lane to get into the area, so be prepared to have to squeeze your car over to let others get by.
Also, check out that shack. Jason voorhees definitely lives there."

"Nice place with lot of hiking trails ranging from 0.6 miles till 1.6 miles. Can go with kids. No dogs allowed. There is no entry fees to visit the park. Open every day from dawn to dusk except the days when the creek flowing in park is flooding the road"
Prashasti Prabhakar
"A lovely place to walk, relax, and escape the noise and blazing sun. The only inconvenient thing is that they only have one entrance. It has free Wi-Fi and parking under the shade of the trees. The place is very nice, and no one bothers you."
