"+JMJ...Saturday 20 August 2022. Very surprised that I haven't submitted a review here because I have visited this cemetery an innumerable amount of times. I am so fascinated by this place of rest for so many deceased that I have thought about being buried here myself. Anyway, when I first started visiting (I will have to search the dates in videos I uploaded on YouTube) it was overgrown with shrubs. So much so that you could hardly see the grave markers. However, to date, a concerned, dedicated, hardworking man (and volunteers) have cleared the grounds making visible all markers that are still standing. When I visited several days ago, I was in awe!! I can see that recent photos have been posted. The work done is incredible. Verde Valley Independent/Camp Verde Bugle posted an article in addition to photos about the man who has taken to restoring the dignity of this historic cemetery. More later. Found the article which is dated Wednesday, 4 August 2021. Have posted two photos featuring his image. Blessings!"

"Unique and rugged cemetery. Very different from east coast cemeteries. Many of the graves feature wooden and iron monuments.
At the front entrance and parking lot, there is a numbered plot for the cemetery. The numbers correspond to line marker stones that run the length of the fence."

"If you like old and Historic then this is a 4-star. It is in an out of the way park of Cottonwood or Clarkdale. I can't tell which. There are many old markers scattered around this rather large and unkept cemetery. In the photos I submitted is a Arizona State Cemetery registration certificate.
As I said it is totally unkept and neglected so you will be walking in a weedy area. So beware of critters and Snakes that may be hiding among thiem."
