"A historic house dating back to when the United States used to be a colony of Great Britain. The inside was small but historically significant since it dates back to before South Carolina ratified the U.S. constitution. I noticed that many objects have their fabric removed for some reason probably for restoration purposes. Beware that inputting the location directly into the GPS would lead you to a closed gate, which happened to me on my first attempt at getting there."

"300 + years, talk about time travel! I arrived a few hours before closing and had no trouble finding parking. The attendant was quite knowledgeable and eager to share the history of this location. I took my camera along and I am so thankful that I did. There were so many stories ingrained in those walls. "We had a tour of bottom part of house & then also where able to walk around the second level of the house. The person doing tours let us know that anything made of fabric was removed from house at moment being restored by a place in DC but I think even without the fabric is was well worth a tour they have some free parking allow photos & have bathrooms. By the way I would just turn into the botanical garden & follow signs my GPS took me to a closed gate."
