Took myself on date today! 🌻✨🦋Checked out the @brevard_museum for the first time. It’s free and super cool! There is a beautiful hiking trail as well. Then I went to one of my favorites beaches. Walked, swam, napped, collected treasures and read. So grateful to live in such a beautiful and diverse state! 🌻✨🦋#daydate #exploreflorida #brevardmuseumofhistoryandnaturalscience #science #history #natur...

"Great gem of a museum, operated by the county, with free admission!
Excellent time capsule of the area, with many shells and some fantastic castings of a mammoth & a giant sloth. Very helpful and informative docents; Greg and Ben both gave us some great insights on the exhibits. A definite must just if you’re in the area."

Alvaro Torres

"This is a really nice “hidden gem” in Cocoa, FL. It actually has a nice hiking trail to explore with natural (so limiting) views of the lake. The museum is wonderful and how every museum should be… FREE, but please donate if you can to keep that the case! They have multiple displays that are interesting and educational. I highly recommend visiting and taking advantage of this facility."

Verna Aubery

"The museum is free! It's really a great spot to check out and get some brevard history! It's not big but it has a wonderful collection! My kids loved the giant collection of shells!!! The play area where you can be an astronaut! The walking trails are beautiful very long but worth it!!! They have a scavenger hunt wich is great because it gets the kids involved! Will definitely come again"
