"Cedar Mountain was absolutely great! Everyone was very nice and Shay, our tour guide, was super nice and good with our whole family.
The ride was so much more than a simple follow the leader trail ride. Going up and down the steep incline was very cool.
If you are ever in Cody, WY this is a must stop. If we were closer I would come back often. Prices are very reasonable and the experience was so totally worth it. Both my kids got horse shoes after the ride, which they loved!
Don't miss this one."

"Know before you go:
- CASH ONLY (1h-$40 per rider, 2h-$75 per rider, 4hr-$100 per rider, all day -$150 w/lunch)
- Tips for your guide are expected. Standards seem similar to tipping a restaurant server.
- Purses/bags are not allowed while riding (pommel bags are available for phones, car keys, etc)
- Pants and closed toed shoes are needed to ride. Jeans and boots are heavily recommended.
- No reservation is needed. Drive out, park, and walk up to the porch to pay and sign the waiver.

Our group consisted of 4 adults and 3 children under 10 years. Our immediate party of 2 adults and 2 children (8 years and 9 years) have little to no riding experience. The trail gets a bit narrow and can be steep coming down, but the horses are well trained and know what they're doing. If you can keep yourself seated, let them do their thing, and listen to your trail guide; you'll be fine.
Our guide (Hailey, if I'm remembering correctly) was wonderful. She answered everyone's questions, helped our groups each take a photo at the top of our 1 hour venture, and was very patient with our 8 year old set on talking her ear off.
Everyone we interacted with was great. No one was rude. The horses were well behaved and seemed to be healthy work horses.

"Don't listen to the high-maintenance whiners, this place is awesome. Exactly what I want from a horse ranch. Owner was super friendly and helpful, staff were professional and courteous. The ride was awesome, my travel partner and I were able to jump last-minute with a larger group and everyone was super friendly.
Yes, its cash only, just like it says on the website."
