What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the unforgettable experience of the floating green and the stunning lakeside scenery. The course is generally in excellent condition, and many praise the friendly staff and forecaddies. However, some reviews mention inconsistent pace of play and a less exciting finish after the iconic 14th hole.
"The course is famous for its floating island green. Overall the course is a nice course. The forecaddy we had was not great. His first season and he really had very little information. He was zero help reading greens.
The scenic views are spectacular and the course is nice. I did the stay and play and they forgot me at the course with the shuttle. They need some work here.
The only downside is that the 14th hole, the floating green is what you play it for, it's the pinnacle of the experience after you play it holes 15-18 are kinda disappointing."

"Really enjoyed the course this time, having played it once before 25 years ago. I've got a few more courses under my belt since then and better suited to appreciate the entire layout. The entire course was in phenomenal condition and the forecaddie we had was awesome. Would like to have another crack at hole 11, but my saving grace was a nice tee shot onto the floating green."
Jake Kasza
"Beautiful place but ruined by the caddy. For it being my second time ever playing, hearing that we were to expect a fast round and that he worked a double that day wasn’t ok. He repeatedly kicked or threw my ball forward and when I decided to stop playing so that I could enjoy just hanging out because it was no longer fun, he went and talked behind my back to my party which was super embarrassing. Maybe I shouldn’t have played this course so early but was brought along by friends. Terrible experience on such a nice day."
