What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally enjoy the Kootenai County Farmers Market for its fresh produce, local honey, and artisan baked goods, with many praising the unique desserts. However, some specific items, like fried pies, have received mixed reviews regarding taste and preparation.
"Customer service was great. Lots of interestingly sweet looking concoctions and fruit/honey goods.
I heard how wonderful the fried pies were, so we got a peach pie.
At best, it was just okay. I think the fruit was not ripe or sweet. The peaches were crispy, not soft and did not feel or taste cooked or sweet. The breading was just like a slightly undercooked but dry baked crust with little flavor. I assumed the crust would have been moister but crispy due to being fried. It was not.
To say the least, I was 😞 disappointed.
Maybe my expectations were just too high."
