"Beautiful spot for a walk as I was traveling through! Right by the lake, so people can swim, also by the cruise docks where you can take a 90 minute or so long cruise to learn about the lake, has picnic areas, nice side walk and walking trails, best park bathrooms I've ever used, pet friendly, and has food truck space. Someone had their pizza truck there when I went. Right by a resort, so you can stay there and walk to the park if you'd like. Very kid friendly, as they have a large playground area that is also fenced in to prevent kids from wandering away. By the lake, so you can swim, too!
Must pay to park, though. $2/hr. (Unless you stay at the resort, they have their own valet parking)."

"Beautiful hike along the lake. Takes around one hour with lots of photo stops. Easy hike along a dirt path, some rocks, and some muddy sections after a rain. There is also a beach not far down the trail if you go counter clockwise!"
