What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Peebles Island State Park for its serene natural beauty, well-maintained trails, and abundant wildlife, offering a peaceful escape. Many appreciate its accessibility and the opportunity to disconnect. Some minor drawbacks include the prevalence of bugs during summer months.
"A peaceful and pretty park with well maintained hiking trails. The prettiest part is by the waterfalls. A deer crossed my path, but dog owners held dutifully their pets on leashes. I also learned there that a tree will one day fall down. That's unfair because it will leave all other trees still growing. See the picture. 😀"
Piotr Kalinowski
"Its a beautiful park, with very well maintained trails. There is a small area perfect for swimming off of the perimeter trail (red trail). It does get busy on weekends and nice weather days though. The parking area is very small so you may have to park just outside of the designated park, prior to the single lane bridge."

"Was a nice little hike for my little family. My toddler enjoyed herself and was even able to walk a good portion of it. Nice areas to sightsee as well"
