Many appreciate the option of climbing stairs for exercise or using the elevator for easier access to overlooks. The complimentary shuttle service and the unique dining experience at Restaurant 1858 are also frequently mentioned positives. "Beautiful! I loved it! We did make the climb but took the elevator up to eagles nest and there was a cute shop at the top. Oh and if you see a white Hydroflask floating down the stream mine fell in. I recommend the bus ride in the driver was awesome and it runs ever 15 minutes. And it's Free! You can also take a golf cart up if needed. Great for those unable to make the walk up."

"This place is beautiful if you want to see the canyon closer. Make time to get there because you have to take the shuttle. Bring comfortable shoes if you are going to hike.
The stairs up to the mountain are comfortable but take your time if you are not used to the altitude.
Unfortunately, the day we went, the elevator was not working and no discount was offered. Good place to spend a whole day, bring your picnic food, lots of areas to enjoy the views. We didn’t have much time to do the longer hikes but recommended to go early so there not much wait time."

"Beautiful scenery and well maintained. The waterfalls are worth seeing and some decent little hikes after. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. Got the quads burning but once again we'll worth it! We went on the weekend so the line for shuttle was long but they have a couple running so it wasn't to bad."
