You'll see a massive, actively calving glacier, often with large icebergs in the water. Wildlife like whales, seals, and eagles are also common sightings.
While the glacier itself is a natural phenomenon, tours are operated by experienced professionals. The main safety concern is the unpredictable nature of calving icebergs and changing weather.

Common sightings include humpback whales, orcas, harbor seals, sea lions, sea otters, and various seabirds, including bald eagles.
Most tours are boat-based, so walking is minimal, usually just to and from the dock. If you opt for kayaking, there will be some paddling involved.
