What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Faurot Field offers a classic college football atmosphere with passionate fans and an iconic 'M' end zone, making for a fun game day. However, visitors often note that the stadium's amenities, particularly concessions and restrooms, need updating, and seating can be uncomfortable. Ongoing renovations are expected to improve the experience in the future.
"Right now, the construction is a little difficult to navigate, and it’s very difficult to get from one side of the field to the next. Once construction is done it won’t be an issue. But always enjoy games at Faurot Field. Concession food was really bad and lines were very long for food and drinks. Restrooms desperately need updating. But if you’re going for a football game, it’s a pretty basic football field with what you’d expect from a college game."
Suzie Mueller
"A stadium with a great vibe, a fantastic atmosphere, and above all, a lot of respect. It's one of the best stadiums in the SEC with the best atmosphere. However, it does need some renovations in certain areas, one of which is the restrooms. Sometimes they're clogged with poop, making the lines to use the bathroom much longer. 😅 As for the seats, you should bring your stadium seat to be comfortable, otherwise, prepare for terrible back pain if you're someone who likes to watch the game sitting down. I think that after the renovation and expansion of the stadium, it will look much nicer, and you'll feel that immersive energy that gives you goosebumps even more. 💛🖤"
Roberto Puente
"For an SEC stadium, it’s a disappointment. Under renovation to raise the capacity to… just 65,000? Anyway, I might be a little harsh on it because I’ve always respected their “M” behind the end zone and it’s iconic. Would love to catch a game down here someday. I wish it was easier to access the stadium and take some better pictures/looks. All respect though!"
