I stopped by this park to pay my respects on Memorial Day, and I swelled up with pride to be a South Carolinian. I'd recommend anybody in Columbia, whether you're a native or just stopping through, to stop by and just spend a few minutes of silence in this beautiful space.

"One of the best veterans memorials I have seen in the country. Was great to see so many different wars and people honored in this park. The War Dog statue was top notch! Saw a few homeless people taking up shelter in the park so hopefully that doesnt dissuade others from seeing this wonderful place."
