"Stopped here to escape the city for a little bit - a good decision! A lovely building with several rooms and seats to relax and watch birds from. We went to the river viewing platform and had fun watching turtles fight for space on the logs to sun themselves. Also saw hairy woodpecker, grey heron, ducks, robins, a snake (on the river) etc. A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature (though the roar of the highways is always in the background... :-)"
