History
We visited as part of our 250REV long weekend in Concord and Lexington. What a time!
We walked around the house and looked at the nearby foundation - maybe it was the barn that stored our ammunition and weapons. We pictured the Regulars arriving and searching the buildings, while everything was hiding in the nearby fields - what a smart move by the colonists!"

"We were lucky enough to get a personal tour with a direct descendent of the Barrett family. The history of this place is absolutely amazing and the property is beyond beautiful."
Jill Monique Milliken
"We were fortunate last Sunday to be able to attend an open house at the Col. James Barrett Farm on Sunday, August 25, visiting from Rumney, NH. What a treat to see such an important landmark from the beginning of the Revolution! As an extra bonus, we very much appreciated the individual attention from both Jim Cunningham, Project Director, and Jim Hollister, Historian. Their enthusiasm for both the history of the region as well as the building renovation project was highly contagious. We learned a lot! We are so fortunate that this fascinating place has been preserved. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for a job well done!"
