Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the New Hampshire State House for its free admission, historical significance, and impressive architecture, particularly the golden dome and well-maintained grounds. The guided tours are highly recommended for their informative content. Some note that upper floors are private offices, but the public areas offer a rich experience.

"A very interesting and free visit to the New Hampshire State House, without an appointment. We came as a bus tour and were dropped off at the plaza. The visit included lunch at the State House Cafe in the basement.
The public rooms are on the First Floor and feature flag cases, and a museum where campaign signs are posted, from those candidates who campaigned in New Hampshire across many years. Employees were present and happy to answer any questions. Restrooms are in the basement near the cafe. The upper levels are the private offices of the Congress members and Senators. The outside grounds were lovely with gardens of abundant flowers. We hurried through there instead of giving this the attention it deserved, as it was raining."

"We really enjoyed our experience at the New Hampshire capital building. We left Montpelier and drove to Concord. The grounds were nice and enjoyed all the statues out front. It isn't as impressive as some larger ones we have seen but was still pretty spectacular. I thought it was great to see the new one of Christa McCullough."

"It’s a beautiful and historic building to visit. The guided tours give a great look into the state’s history and government. The grounds are well-kept with impressive statues, and the inside is open and welcoming. It's a nice stop if you enjoy history and architecture.
Plenty of parking spaces on the street."
