What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Rotary Square is praised for its free splash pad, a huge hit with children, and its vibrant farmers market offering local goods. However, concerns are frequently raised about challenging parking situations and the park's proximity to busy roads and the courthouse, which can lead to safety worries and loitering.
"A very cute park that is well maintained and has a fun sundial. The water was very fun and my kid thoroughly enjoyed it, unfortunately our time was cut short due to some freak from the courthouse hanging around and trying to bother me and my toddler. Unfortunately, the location for this park is not ideal as it is directly across the street from the courthouse, and There is no way to make sure that potentially dangerous people do not loiter around and wait for small children. I absolutely love this cute local feature in Concord, I just wish it was had a better location, perhaps something like McGee Park. It would be nice if the city could have an expansion of that park to have a water feature or splash pad of some sort."

"This is a free splash pad and some times they have a farmers market! They turn it on every March and close it every October with plenty of hours each day. I am impressed how then open at 8:30am on the week days. We love how it is right downtown. All you have to do is push the green button and it turns on. Thank you for a fun place to play City of Concord!!!!"

"It was a very nice place to take the kids until the rotary club decided only members can using the parking. So even when the parking lot is empty, you have to find parking elsewhere. Even if you are a member, you're not likely to be able to park there because the parking lot is always full of government vehicles and construction trucks. Normally this isn't a big deal with older kids, but if you have younger kids, save your sanity of trying to hold their hand and carry all your belongings and go elsewhere. It's surrounded by very busy roads that are experiencing more traffic right now due to construction and the opening of the new courthouse across the street. So at this point it's more of a hazard to get there than something to enjoy."
